As of February 2025, we proudly took over ownership of La Perla Clinic. We’ve since renamed the practice Marlow Valley Smiles, which reflects our vision for the future: a warm, family-friendly clinic where every patient feels welcome.

Rest assured, the same friendly team you know and trust is still here, including Jo, Timi, Sana, Ghazal, Karnan, Amir, Mehmuna, and Ela.

We recently visited the Reception class at Burford School. All the children were under four, and we spent the morning talking about teeth, brushing, and healthy habits.

Dr Satnam, Dr Mehmuna, and Ghazal led the session. It was hands-on, relaxed, and full of questions. The children were brilliant.

On 1st May, London hit 29.3°C, the hottest day ever recorded for the month. While we’re all loving the early sunshine, now’s the time to start thinking seriously about skin protection. Enjoying the sun is one of life’s simple pleasures, but protecting your skin while doing so is essential. A high-quality sunscreen is one of the easiest and most effective ways to protect your skin from damage, premature ageing, and serious health risks like skin cancer.

Reapply Regularly

Wearing sunscreen once isn’t enough. Reapply it throughout the day, especially if you’re swimming, sweating, or spending extended time outdoors. Water, heat, and friction can all reduce its effectiveness, so top up at least every two hours.
