Dr Mehmuna Ayub earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2019. She began her career in general dentistry at a well-established Buckinghamshire practice, where she built a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care.

To pursue her interest in surgical dentistry, Dr Ayub trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at hospitals across the East Midlands and Wales. This experience developed her surgical skills and deepened her understanding of complex dental procedures.

In 2021, she gained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

In December 2025, Dr Ayub completed IACSD-accredited IV sedation training with Andrew Jones Dental Sedation Courses. She is also a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD). She now provides IV sedation for adult patients at Marlow Valley Smiles, helping those who feel anxious about dental treatment to have the care they need in a calm, relaxed way.

Dr Ayub combines her surgical background with a gentle, patient-centred approach. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and tailoring treatment to each person’s needs.
