Appointment Deposit Policy
At Marlow Valley Smiles, we are committed to delivering high-quality dental care in a timely, efficient, and patient-focused manner. To ensure each appointment is reserved specifically for your care, we require a deposit at the time of booking certain treatments. This policy supports effective scheduling and reduces late cancellations and missed appointments.
Deposit Requirements
Hygiene Maintenance Appointments
A £25 deposit is required when booking a routine hygiene appointment.
New Patient Dental Examinations
A £25 deposit is required at the time of booking your first appointment with us.
Treatment Appointments
For all treatment appointments, including general dental work (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions), periodontal treatment, and cosmetic or implant procedures, a 20% deposit of the total treatment cost is required to secure the appointment.
Established Patients in Good Standing
No deposit is required for regular patients with a consistent attendance history.
New patients or those with multiple no-shows or late cancellations may be asked to prepay in full at the time of booking, depending on the nature of the appointment.
Rescheduling & Cancellation
- Deposits are non-refundable if appointments are cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice.
- If rescheduled with sufficient notice, your deposit will be applied to your new appointment date.
